« on: 28 September, 2010, 12:07:59 »
First of all I appologize for writing in Englisch. You can however answer in Dutch which i can read but not write....

Here is my question. I own a 31HT and want to lay all sheets and halyards into the cockpit. Would it be possible to give me some suggestions how this can be done. Fotos would be great!

Thank you in advance

Hello Simon, welcome to this forum  and writing in english is no problem, most of the members understand it. Running all sheets to the cockpit shouldn't be a problem, they are allready there... ;)  I'll have al look for the halyards issue, if you want to know details about structural strength of (parts of) the roof I'd suggest you contact Dick Zaal since he is the designer of the C31HT.

Hi,
Well, I found the sheets now  ;) Thanks for the tip :D. I am grateful if you or somebody else could post a foto of a possible solution for the halyards.
As I understand I have to drill though the coaming where also the nautic instruments are located. To get the whole stuff watertight is then the main issue...

BJ: You suggested to contact Dick Zaal...Do you have an adress or mail?

A suggesttion for watertighting the holes: you can use PVC-pipe (5/8") and glue or epoxy that in the coaming??
